We nominated our group member Kieran to create the poster and flyer and this is what he had come up with. I believe this poster design is very clear and includes everything that is need to give description to the public. I really like how the poster has simplicity, it becomes very easy to read and understand but yet still has some artistic structure with the wording.
For the poster we will all print them off and start giving them to art galleries, yacht clubs and other places that would be interested in the exhibition. The posters will all be A4 Size or some possibly being A3 so that they stand out to the public. With the flyers, which will be in A5 size, will be printing them off in bulks and handing them around similar areas and also out and around the town centre.
As well as creating the posters and flyers, I designed an invitation that will be given to all the art and design lecturers in Swansea Metropolitan so that they had an insight as to what was going on.
I decided to use a photograph that I had taken from the mumbles and use that as the background of the invitation. I really like the skyline in this photograph, it is highly interesting and gives a sense of serenity and calmness to the invitation. I included all the important information that they knew where about the exhibition was taking place and also the times and dates. These will be printed off on A5 Card, and placed in the university for the lecturers.
Also, as well as creating hand made advertisements, we also used the social network 'Facebook' by creating an event , where we added people we knew so that word of our exhibition would get out there.

Advertising this exhibition is very important to the whole group as we want as many people as possible to see what we have been working towards, so by creating all these advertisements and scattering them in the town centre and around galleries, hopefully we will manage to persuade the public to come and view the exhibition and look at our work.
